Transnational Crime Syndicate Replacing Governments Requires Civility!
The enablers, Republicans in the US case, say we have to maintain civility to the syndicate (and the enablers themselves, of course) at all costs.
While the ship of state is falling apart around us, the trusty Democrats scurry around trying to figure out which salad fork to use so that Emily Post McTurtle won’t sneer at them.
Hillary, as always, says it well: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for.”
But, zomg, then what to do?! We can’t sink to their level! Right?! !Eleventy!
I’m going to be serious for a second and shout the obvious answer:
You speak the truth. You call things what they are. You stop worrying about Repub fee-fees.
No, it’s not civil. No, you wouldn’t do it at a garden party. This is not a goddamn garden party.
You don’t shut down your most direct truthtellers. Maxine Waters, bless her, can’t be shut down. But give her a megaphone! Alan Grayson — remember Alan Grayson? The Repub health plan was don’t get sick, and if you do, die quickly — was somehow shut down and disappeared. Al Franken was bundled off by what looks to me a lot like a Rove-style plot to blow backstage comedy trip weirdness, in which all participated, out of proportion. Maizie Hirono is brilliant. Give her another megaphone!
Impeachment? Sure, if you’re Pelosi, you can point out that enablers in the Senate would make it a waste of time, but make it clear: impeachment for treason is deserved. It’s what checks and balances are for. It’s not the same as using it to try to kneecap a popular president with a popular agenda.
So, stop being civil. In the service of truth. Not lies. It’s that simple.

I saw that on Feminist Current yesterday. Mindboggling. With all the misogynist crap on Twatter and Crackbook and *everywhere* what we really need protection from is feminists.
Kind of tells you all you need to know about the “disruptive,” free-for-all, tech libertarians, doesn’t it?
I’m not personally in a position for WP to be stupid at me. This is a blog I set up (with wordpress software from wordpress.org, not .com) and host myself. So they can bite me. 😀

I’m glad you have WordPress.org instead of.com. Alternative options, including WP .org are being discussed on 4th Wave Now for Gallus Mag. Gallus has financial difficulties and apparently she does not even have internet at home. She had to go to the library to get access to her blog. Also, WP is denying her access to her content, which is outrageous. All because she wrote a post exposing a dangerous pedophile and serial litigator using his former name, which he uses himself online and for business.

Yes, they redacted every mention of the name of the pedo / serial litigator in her statement. They added a new policy of not allowing “deadnaming” of trans people AFTER Gallus’s post on Gender Trender was put up. They never informed her of the new policy or gave her a chance to amend her post. However, the pedo still uses his “dead” (male) name online and the pronoun “he”. He generally refers to himself as Jonathan Yaniv or Jonathan (Jessica) Yaniv, so it’s not really “deadnaming.” Also, they have not redacted the names of Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner or Douglas (Donna) Perry in any WordPress blogs, only that of JY. They have also suspended the gender critical blog Gender Identity Watch for the same “reason” as Gender Trender. In addition, Gallus Mag’s comments in the thread of the 4th Wave Now blog posts have apparently been “shadow banned” and someone has commented that 4th Wave Now has also been “shadow banned” as she could not pull it up on search results, but I haven’t checked that last thing (the shadow banning of 4th Wave Now) out yet so I’m not sure about it.
