They rolled out the crane inch by inch to fix the posts under the pier. They got it into position, extended the arm, and, in lovely slow motion, it settled onto its side instead. I saw it happen (this was 2005 or 2006) but I didn't have any camera on me at the time. This was taken a couple of days later with a cellphone.
