This is what happens when you try to take an astrophoto with no preparation. And that's when you're lucky and have a steady hand. (Picture taken by PK) The bright planet at about 2 o'clock in the moon's glow is Jupiter. The asterism at the right is the Pleiades. What the blue thing is, I have no idea. Alien spaceship? Unknown neighboring planet? (Or a reflection of the bright moon in the camera's lens.
